Current status report. :) I've been playing DDR World since its release. The flare skill system introduced with DDR World is giving me motivation to play DDR hard again. I'm aiming the highest rank 'World' for Double Play but will it happen..? パーフェクトイーター(Perfect Eater) was a reward song for entering KAC 2023 and it has been unlocked by default from July 1st, 2024.

Played with beatoraja. I tried with LR2 firstly, but LR2 causes BADs too easily and doesn't tell which random pattern was chosen in advance(It can be noticed through min, max bpm display in beatoraja). A song only playable in CS GF4&DM3. The short version was once ported to GFDM V4(with TAG's tearful story) but has been removed in right next series. This long version has never been ported to AC. I first heard this song on UA-cam very long time ago and I was impressed because that twin guitar sound was so cool.

A cover of the famous glam metal song by Swedish rock band, Europe. This song first appeared in IIDX 4th and was included until HAPPY SKY. It's quite long run as a licensed song in IIDX. I struggled so hard to get Full Combo only with one hand.. This chart exceeds my one handed skill.

CS exclusive song of 8th style. This song is a remix of エブリデイ・ラブリデイ(Everyday Lovelyday) from CS pop'n music 10, which was released on the same day with this game. This song has never been ported to AC IIDX while the original song has been ported to AC pop'n music 13.

A song from the first beatmania IIDX. This chart is quite tough compared to its notecounts because of continuous jacks. Some people suspect that this song plagiarized Boogie Wonderland by Earth, Wind and Fire. However, this song was written by Larry Dunn, who was a member of Earth, Wind and Fire.

The playstyle of that time. super highway is the boss song of 3rdMIX and was infamous for its stair patterns to players at that time. super highway (SUPER SUBWAY MIX) first appeared in completeMIX 2 as the ANOTHER chart of super highway. This version contains rearranged keysounds and more reinforced stair patterns.

Only 312 notes, but enough to frustrate players. One of GFDM V2 Extra Stage songs. This song was infamous to GuitarFreaks players for its bass chart's weirdness. So I managed to get Full Combo through my own strategy(?). I think it's more difficult than current GITADORA's 5 buttons chart. The 5 buttons chart consists of chords with a single button, but this chart consists of more twisted chords...

A debut song for GFDM series of Reiji Sakurai, who won the BEMANI 2004 Vocalist Audition. Though I've got to know this song only now I think it's a very impressive song. But unfortunately, This song hasn't been included in XG, GITADORA series.

A classical EURO BEAT song by NAOKI. This song first appeared in DDR 5th & IIDX 5th which are released on the same day. In the IIDX Another chart, There's a destructively difficult section compared to its difficulty(Level 9). So I thought up a kind of 'strategy'.

Wow Mixwaver. It's been about 20 years since I heard that name. It's interesting that foreigner also knows about Mixwaver because it was developed by Korean and I thought it was used in Korea only. Did people outside of Korea use Mixwaver usually?
@@blurtic Everybody I knew who was into BMS went from BM98 to Mixwaver to BemaniaDX. So most only used Mixwaver for maybe a year or two, but it was important because it was the first to have 7 key support.
@@bbqtool Thanks for replying. :) In Korea, Rhythm-it and ruv-it! were the most popular BMS player before the Lunatic Rave era. There were some people who use other players though.

Ah yes. Techno and classical music. a genre that blends both so well we see it a lot on rhythm games. When I can think of these, the best composers that are great at it are dj TAKA and BanYa from the Pump It Up series, in my opinon.

Great video! Can i ask how you connected your ps2? What device did you use? I experienced input delay when i tried connecting directly to my lcd tv using my av cable
Hello, I'm using RetroTINK 5X HDMI Converter to connect ps2 to my gaming monitor. I had to use a converter because my monitor doesn't have av or component ports. But the direct connection through av or component cable is better option for input delay. So I think your monitor itself has a input delay issue.
